Litmus Learn is a fully-integrated blended learning platform designed to empower teachers and engage students. We believe technology can transform our educational system by delivering data-backed insight into how students are learning, and how we can help teachers be more effective fostering dynamic learning experiences without adding to their burden.
Does a classroom need an operating system?
Teachers know that schools are massively complex organizations. In each classroom, an orchestra is performing – The teacher is the conductor, setting the tone and tempo of what’s happening. The students each unique in their skills and needs, are responding to the teacher’s cues just as much as they are collaborating with peers.
Teachers have so many tasks ahead of them. They are planning and evaluating lessons, Understanding how their students learn and what methodologies work best on individual and class levels. Our teachers need the right data to make decisions, and they need the time it takes to planfully create their lessons. We need to be protective of our teachers’ time – freeing them from unnecessary or low-impact tasks, while helping them maximize their interactions with their students.
One of the best ways we can help teachers run an impactful classroom is to offer them an operating system – a way to plan lessons using existing templates, proven instructional plans that have strong evidence-based results. A way to organize and share lessons among colleagues, and to compile useful data at individual and macro levels. A system that would assign activities to engage students, to make learning fun, and to assess not only what they know, but how deeply they know it, and how confident they are in that knowledge.
For all of these reasons, we’re really excited that 2023 will be the year that Litmus Learn comes onto the scene as a way for us to help our teachers create efficient systems for planning and evaluating. We want to help students learn through interactive content, bespoke games on specific topics, and the greatest innovation – confidence assessments – which tell teachers not just what their students know, but how confident they are in that knowledge.
We’re also excited about Litmus Learn because it isn’t just an operating system for a classroom, but it’s a promise of ongoing innovation. Our team at Litmus Learn is already iterating and improving on what we do. The more we can include teachers into our process, the better we can serve our great educators. We want to free up teacher time, engage students, and help give greater insights into student learning.
We are moving quickly. We at Litmus Learn have great expectations of ourselves, and even greater ambitions for 2023. We want to connect with as many teachers as we can to get them look at Litmus Learn, to set them up for an amazing experience using it in their classrooms, and to give feedback on what they like, what they want, and how we can be an even more powerful set of tools in their toolbox.
We’ll be reaching out to tech-foward teachers that are curious and would like to give Litmus Learn a try – It doesn’t cost anything to try, and we know you’ll find it useful.
